Scan F:/Folder (PC) for any new/changed files and then copy those files to L:/Folder (FreeNAS). So I'd like something that either runs discretely on the Windows machine to sync the folders up, or something that runs off the FreeNAS through a plugin. The problem with SyncToy was I had to set it up as a scheduled task in windows, and every time it ran it would cause a console to pop up on screen and take focus - Annoying when I'm trying to use the machine and it tries scanning to see if there are any changes to copy. Previously I've used SyncToy on the windows machine to sync folders from windows to the FreeNAS share. I want a system that will scan the drives in the PC and then copy any changes made over to the FreeNAS storage to act as a copy/backup. What's the best way to synchronize folders on drives over a local network to a FreeNAS system? I have a volume/share on the FreeNAS machine for backing up files from my PC.
